Jesse Robredo's death is very controversial. Today, A viral post claims that the cause of his death was due to his discovery of illegal drug trade. Those drug trade is linked to PHP Generals and Cabinet officials of the Former President Aquino Administration.
The post claims that "Jess informed President Aquino of his investigations. The problem was it was not only the drug lords who are links to some PNP Generals but as Jess dug deeper he found that they had links to Palace officials." Rico Puno, a former DILG Undersecretary was said to be also linked to the case. Rico Puno tried to retrieve all the files that may be use as evidence of the connection of PNP Generals and Cabinet Officials to Drug Syndicates.
"So when Aquino was told of the fatal plane crash, he instructed Rico Puno, Usec at DILG, to rush to the Robredo condo to look for the files and dispose of them because they contained incriminating evidence against two Cabinet members." another said on the post
